Distinguished Communicator Program
In this program, I crafted my communication skills through various mediums. With a future in politics and governmental work involving low socioeconomic and minority individuals, I understand the importance of being versatile in my communication style and approach. After completing this program, I can effectively communicate information in written, spoken, visual, and technological formats.
Engaged Citizen Program
In this program, I interacted with the Baton Rouge community with over 100 service hours served over my 4 years at LSU. While serving, I incoporated 9 hours of service-learning courses into my schedule during my time at LSU so I could connect what I learned in the classroom and in the real world at the same time.
This program helped me build connections within the Baton Rouge community while also learning to address systematic issues at the local level.
